When Kelly Kim made it to the Main Event final table I'm pretty sure he was the only one that identified himself as an amateur. IIRC the same was the case for Darvin Moon.
Whether the guys that make the final table and call themselves professionals really do play poker for a living or whether they're just broke degens who like to think
that they do is another question entirely. But the majority of people at the Main Event final table in recent years have definitely identified themselves as professional players. They're just not ones everyone has heard of.
