I like to play 4 hours every day. I like to play cash game and some freerolls at the same time and I feel good. I like to play poker so much but I have to study and work so I can't play much more than 4 hours in a day. I'm trying to earn money and increase my bank and then I guess I could play more hours and take more time playing poker and having fun.
An hour at most now in a few small stake spin games. I usually win $10-$20 and few more points. When I had the time, 24 hrs+. These would be multi-table big games where just a couple of middling finishes relative to fifteen losses would still be a nice pay day. Make note that you can get sucked into some tournaments where they are so long that you are strongly tempted just to sit the thing out. Play through it and do your best consistently.
Life's a forge. You'll be roasted, smelted and pounded. Metal's worthless till it is shaped and tempered. More labor than luck. Face the pounding, don't fear the proving and you'll stand well against any hammer and anvil.
maybe 2 hours a day if its poker day. I don't play every day, sometimes I have a couple weeks break, sometimes play a couple times a day. But my one session is no longer than 2 hours, can't manage more than that.
re: Poker & How many hours a day do you usually play poker?
usually about 10-15. longest session was 33 hours. it was my first time winning as much as i did and i kept winning and just couldnt get off. tried going to sleep several times and after laying in bed 30 minutes would open the laptop back up.
What sites are good to play from United States California ? Any recommendations. I been trying to play online for real money but been unsuccessful. it asks me for an address out of the United States and only gives me the option to play only if I live in New Jersey. Help anyone? Thanks
I think that for optimal play cash tables enough 4-6 hours a day. When you play more, the concentration is significantly reduced, and you make a lot of mistakes, you react more aggressively to the failure to deviate from its optimal performance. If you are playing the rakeback, you can play more, but in reality these pokerstars enough 4-6 hours. I see no more sense ...
Some weekends might be all day , usually the weekdays I play many hours , how many I don't count , it depends on the mood , on the successes , if I play well or if I play bad and make loose calls by tilt or for any reason so I stop playing early and start watching twitch lol
The longest series of poker I have been on (Sunday storm) on Poker Stars 1 million, will tell of more. I got a ticket for a satellite school of Poker 8A, won a prize, won a ticket to the target satellite tournament Sunday 8A lasted 3.5 hours. Participated in the target tournament total number of people 228000+, the game lasted 5.5 hours in my case and I took 8600+ place to get a prize of 32 $ was fun to play but it was disappointing when set to AAA moved
3-4 hours on an average a day normally 4-5 days a week.
I like mtt so I will play more if a series is on and some Sundays. It is always a good day if my sessions are long on a Sunday means I have gone deep in something. Have played 12-14 hours on a Sunday already.
