How Many Bracelets Will Daniel Negreanu Win This Year?

Over 9000!!

He's already come close in 2 events so, I would say 1 for sure but 3 doesn't seem like it would impossible. He's been playing good poker leading up to the wsop. He's got two 2nd and a 3rd place finish in 3 of the Bellagio's Mixed Game High Rollers, 5th at the PSC Bahamas High Roller and 8th in the Aria's Super High Roller.

Hopefully he wins at least 3 so he wins the prop bets he made.

0, still pretty hard to win one and not sure how many events he plans on playing. Also his competition is getting tougher each year.

It's impossible to say if he will win a bracelet, he appears to be playing well this year so far. I hope he wins a bracelet he has done so much for poker since as far back as i can remember. Just a guess but i will say he wins 1 bracelet this year!

Probably not enough for all the tournaments he enters.

This will be the most agonizing wsop of Negreanu's career as he will come close many times but wont win a single bracelet, because he said MORE RAKE IS BETTER!!!

Perhaps his podcast & Vlogs have taken away some of his focus.

I think he can win one, maybe two. Negreanu is one of the bests.

My guess is 0. I know people really rave about Negreanu but I personally don't like him or his play, especially latley.

I'm sure people will disagree with me but this is my opinion, if anyone wants to try and prove to me that he still tries like he used to or that his game is still at the same level, feel free and good luck.

I don`t have nothing against him, but I think this not his year, so he is not going to grab any bracelet, but anyway good luck to him

Currently 3rd on the WSOP POY leaderboard, pretty good for not trying and with his level of play going downhill.

I think 2 bracelets will be his.

I like Daniel...he has a pleasant table manner. He's not a whiner like Phil Helmuth, or a boisterous blowhard like Mike Matesow, or just a rude jerk like William Kassouf. His banter is funny and loosens up the table....he does not criticize just to get into a player's head. But, it is still hard to win a bracelet...you need both skill and luck to win, because the average WSOP player has more poker knowledge and skill than their predecessors.

The WSOP POY leaderboard needs some serious work on it and the way points are worked out, in my opinion so that doesn't really mean a lot.

Ok then if you use last years ranking system done by GPI Daniel would be 2nd. In your opinion does this mean that GPI is flawed and doesn't mean a lot?

I prefer the GPI system over the way they are doing it this year with ROI, but there will never be a system that suits everyone.

When I say he doesn't try like he used to, I'm not saying he isn't trying, but maybe he is trying to hard. Putting too much pressure on himself to win his 7th bracelet.

You think he will win at least one this year, I don't think he will win any, especially not 3 that he has a wager on.
We will see who is correct at the end.

True. And I think they don't play WSOP to win POY, it isn't their main goal.

Maybe 1 maybe nothing , I think his style is no more effective , he didn't achieve something , last couple of years

I'm following his youtube channel and from what I've seen, I think he will give his best at poker this year. He isn't as good as he used to be, beacuse poker has changed but I think he will get atleast 1 bracelet.

How many I do not know, but my favorite book is the small ball he wrote, I recommend it to everyone.

I hope at least 3 I watch his vlog daily

I think he will get 1. He has been oh so close with three final tables already and playing really really well.

I'm rooting for him to get one real soon and hope he proves me wrong and somehow gets multiple bracelets!!

He has been player really well this year so far, I might have a flutter on him to finally win the main event.
