In our country, with winnings in online poker and winnings at online casinos need to pay taxes! Moreover, the taxes need to pay even if you won the same amount as invested in the game, then there is no need to pay only if you all to lose!)I'm curious to know how this things work in your country?

Here in brasil poker was recognized as a mind Sport, i think in 2013-14... cassinos still illegal.
Automatic tax of 27.5% on winnings (liquid profits), the host of event collect at cashout. Im not sure if foreigners pays 15%, its been a while since i read about it
Its the same tax as the top (annual income tax).

In canada the tax code doesn't specifically deal with or label gambling as being a business or prize. So winnings are not taxed. Some people have tried to claim deductions for gambling losses and have went to tax court. They have all been denied which I think is a good thing because if they start accepting deductions for gambling losses then they will revisit gambling in the tax code and clearly define it making it taxable. Then we would have to pay taxes on all gambling winnings. Also as a side note lottery winnings are defined in the Canadian tax code as a "windfall" and are not taxable.

If someday I'll do a consideration to move to another country, I'll go in Canada

I will not argue, but I will write on my own, in Ukraine poker is accepted as a sport, and wins in online games are not taxed.
But I do not know the offline tournaments, there is the Ukrainian room PokerMatch, it conducts satellites to the tournament in the city of Kharkov "UA Millions Kharkiv", that's where we find out ....

I'm trying to earn a starting bankroll in freerolls and seriously tackle a professional online poker game. I also study theory and read articles about poker, in general, I seriously engaged in and set for success!
I live in Belarus and with us, if you win, you must pay 13% of the amount that you deduce on the bank card. Only in our country the situation changes almost every day and it is difficult to read for guaranteed access to online games. However, I hope that I and all other community players will succeed and we will be able to overcome all difficulties on the way to the poker Olympus!

In Ukraine all poker clubs are closed, and what they are working illegally. Except those that play the official sports tournament, and not games for money.

I live in Belarus and as already correctly wrote above, the tax at us makes 13%, but ... poker at us officially is not forbidden and it is not resolved, and therefore and the tax as such on wins from gamblings is not present. 13% are paid - since it is income tax, which must be paid to citizens for income received by an individual outside of the official work.
P.s. Canada - just a paradise for poker players))

I thought it's a super gray area? I've heard jaimestaples say in stream that he does pay taxes on winnings but maybe he just says it to cover his own ass? I thought Canadians are supposed to but it's never checked up on or something like that

Hey,
How it looks in Republic of ireland?
If I win some cash on pokerstars, lets assume 1000 $ and I will withdraw it to my bank account, I have to pay tax or report it anywhere?

I believe they do. You're supposed to report all winnings and then pay taxes on them. At the same time I think very few people actually pay the full taxes on poker winnings. If you register as a professional gambler you can actually write gambling losses off on your taxes.

Are you sure? Do you know what number law is? I think this project law does not have been approved in all the houses of our parlament.

Yea the tax is done on a day to day basis, and its total cash - buy ins for the day not necessarily if you played the tourney. hence the shenanigans of the greeks.
