personally i save up my medals....really depends what you like more

in the freerolls there are alot of sitouts and its been said fairly easy to make the money..so if your a decent tourney player...i'd say take a shot at the freeroll

however if you think your going to make bronze silver gold or iron man each month for awhile...i say save up the medals and buy a cash bonus after a year or 2 of saving them.

Top prize for silver freeroll...im guessing here....7K maybe?? not real sure but its in that area

Do you get rakeback? Just know that using medals for FTP or Iron Man store items might have rakeback hit implications.

Generally, the freeroll is supposed to have the best value on a purely $ for $ basis if you have rakeback.

Buying and using tournament tickets from the Iron Man store does not affect your rakeback, so if you can't or don't want to play the freerolls then using your medals for tournament tickets is the next best thing.

If you don't want to have to play tourneys to get cash out of your Iron Man medals, then use the cash bonus (just know it will affect your rakeback).

NEVER use your Iron Man medals to buy Full Tilt Points. It is a pointless waste.

I am also saving up my medals. I haven't decided whether to go the bonus route, or save up until I can buy the 100k ft points.

Likely be getting a free entry to the FTOPS MainEvent.... or even sponsorship. (that's what my friend told me... so don't quote me on that one)

If you're an MTT player I would take the 'Freeroll' over the medals. Payouts are a bit on the flat side with ~1/3 of the field gettin' paid. (you can search for them in the fulltilt lobby.. just click on 'completed'... I think they run at around the 12th-ish of the month.. or second Sunday or something like that).
