How do you plan your poker games?
Let's analyze what many players say,have one plan:

When we devise a strategy, we should not abdicate it before proving whether it is a winner or a loser,For you, how do you plan your poker games,
Do you usually work out a strategy with the pre-determined games for the week, or are you playing randomly without much worrying about it?

I play on bol and I work during the day mostly so my plans are usually to hit about 3-4 evening freerolls (usually at least one $100, $50 and $25 because of how they cycle) and try to place itm in at least one a night. Otherwise I don't plan any of my play time out it's just when I can fit in a few cash game hands or have a large chunk of time for a tourney. And as far as strategy goes, for cash games when I have a long amount of time I want to play tight and double up my buy-in (so for .01/.02 with a $1 buy-in I want to leave the table somewhere around $2) and for tourneys usually the strategy is play super tight early one and try to triple up my stack with good hands by the first break and then after that start playing very aggressive against short stacks until I get in the money. That's what I normally do though I don't plan special strategies for anything ahead of time.

Usually I play a few times during the week at evening after work, if I'm not too tired. So it also depends a lot on my mood.
At the weekends I play more. Sometimes I play more to achieve a certain level or s.th. else depending on the poker room and the promo_Or I play for bonusses, when I have free time or longer weekends. If I know I will participate in longer tourneys, I play less before, to not become tired so early.

I never plan my games. I certainly determine in advance which tournament I will attend. The strategy is almost the same everywhere in tournaments. Is that freerolls differ in the tactics of the game from tournaments with buy-ins.

I plan, the tournaments I'm going to play in the day, and a range of hands to deep stack, and another when I'm small. I use the equilab together so I can more easily have a help from the range formed for each phase of the tournament.

I start to play just when I want. Sometimes I do not have the desire to play, then I just do other things

My goal is to always win, placing in the money of MTTs is just a byproduct of trying to win. The only time I am aware of the bubbles is when I am a short stack near a bubble.

Currently I play randomly without worrying about following a grind of weekly games.
Firstly because I do not have much time to play today, so I randomly play the tournaments I want, without any pressure with result.

But in the future I want to do a strategy and a legal grind to see the results

In the morning I make a plan for the day. In any poker rooms and what I play. Cash game or tournament. Take breaks. And so every day.

I always plan ahead where and in what I will play. Without this, there can be no correct bankroll.

The plan heavily depend on my bankroll, of course. Based on what I can afford, I play corresponding games.
If my bankroll is thin, I play conservative, standard formats, like 1.10 Buy-in MTT 10 min level tournaments.
If my finances are better, I play higher buy-in tournaments that may include less traditional format, like hyper-turbo or even time tournament.

Only after bankroll as first priority I look upon the tournament schedule. I might play in poor time of day when there are few affordable tournaments available, just because there is that 1 tournament that I want to play.

I play whenever I have free time and this is usually late in the afternoon. I register to the tournaments they start that time and always the buy in is within my bankroll manager limits. Of course sometime I play some satellites in order to take a ticket for a bigger buy in tournament!

Furthermore I like SnG tournaments , those games are very convenient for players who just want to play some poker with a standard buy in!!

I have no plans. There are tickets and I play them. And I always play freerolls.

How do you plan your poker games?

Do you usually work out a strategy with the pre-determined games for the week, or are you playing randomly without much worrying about it?

I play mainly cash games so I don't plan the time ahead since it is easy to find a table at any time. I play when I have free time and feel like playing. What I do plan is of course the strategy and most of the times that means that I just tell myself to be patient and to strictly follow my own rules. I am my own worst enemy and I start to lose as soon as I break my own rules and play out of line by doing something crazy just because I'm bored. So that's why I try to focus on my mental game ahead.

I also have a long run plan and that means that I set certain goals for myself for a year or so. That includes studying poker, trying to become a better player and taking shots at bigger games.

My main plan - when I play poker, I don't plan on losing! But this plan does not always work :)

In general, I try to stick to the following game plan (but it does not always work out):
1. I try to play A-game;
2. Controlling emotions;
3. The limit of loss.

I really don't have the time or money to pick and choose. I play a little when I get home from work, after cooking dinner. On the weekends I will choose which tourneys I want to play and what time is better for me to hang out with my children.
I will play cash tables at times, but I don't play for more than a couple of hours at a time.

For myself the only plan one player should stick to is that to head to the first place.
It will be not that good to play with same plan all the tournament or on the cash tables. You have to play tilt, depending on the situation you get to.
