How Do You Get That ONE HAND Out of Your Head?

OMG, my first 10.000$ tournament on 888, what a chance for a nice bankroll.
I shut off everything, concentratd full on this Tournament and made some chips at the beginning, so I could play it low until the money. I wanted at least 1$ for my big ticket. There was only one place left and hand by hand was on, and being dealt the next hand, there was still one place to go. Hmm, I'll wait another round, I thought I'm UTG, next hand will finish some more hopefully. And I was dealt 33, next hand my BB I would be all in anyway, but I decided to wait. So I folded. 3 player shoved their chips in the middle and the board showed 3 T 3 :joyman::joyman::joyman: my quads and I would surely had jumped into the 50-100$ places at least. In that moment the remaining player number switched to 300 less, so we already had been in the money Next hand I was dealt 2 8 or crap and it was over.
Up to now, after every tournament ( I didn't do well today) this hand comes back like a whistle blower...why did I , Why haven't I...what would have been...

Sure you know what I'm talking about. Any psycho-Tricks available?

do not worry much. you still have everything ahead of you. most likely you made a mistake by making a fold of 33. But after all poker is not just math, you need to have a little more luck. Good luck to you!

"IF" the "clock" had changed in time I would have been SURE I'm in the money, as I was supposing; I would have gone all-in and won that tournament, bought me a house and everything, you know?

I guess if your goal is to sneak into the money, then it was a good fold on your part. Personally, I think it's a terrible fold with 1 BB, but I'm not a player that's going to drop down to 1 BB and be forced all in. It's terrible to even get yourself to that point.

With that said, I don't know why the hand is upsetting you. You accomplished what you wanted: you folded into the money. If your goal was to finish deeper, then you shouldn't be letting yourself get down to 1 BB and you especially wouldn't be folding 33 UTG for 1 BB.

i have similar situation now, last week played sunday storm, hfh, low stack, folded ATs , woulda flopped nutflush.. next hand A2 allin-bye made it in the money though
