How do you become a pro on sites such as FT and Pokerstars??

Was Just wondering what it takes to become a pro poker player, on the big sites?? anyone know how it happens aswell??

Win lots of money, quit your job/school ... your a pro. If thats how you want to define a pro.

Happens by doing a lot of hard work!

Win lots of money, have a style for your game and your image. Win.

Win a lot. Online, be one of the very best in the world. Real life, have some really good stats and/or a major tournament victory. Probably got to be at least one of the best 1,000 players in the world.

Or have a very brandable image and/or (un)likable personality.

Its often not about skill.

You can either be very good, very marketable, very famous for another reason, or very good friends with a part owner.
