how do u make a video of yourself playing?

i wanted to tape myself playing a STT.

any advise on how i would do that?

ok the best software iv used is called camstudio, its pretty small program it makes mpegs of your screen or can take screen shots of your desktop , now iv used it on a final table and such but u better have a big hardrive as video uses up space, a fifteen minute video may run about 1-4 gigs but camstudio rocks > absolute. poker.com. bowmans.

I use CamStudio, also. It actually makes AVI's or SWF's, not "mpegs".

You can make the resulting file size smaller by using one of the Microsoft codecs and tweaking the video rates and audio settings before recording. The video won't be as smooth as with the CamStudio codec, but it will be good enough.

I recorded this with the MS MP4 V2 codec and with my mic audio set to 11.025 Khz, 8-bit mono (Setting the audio to this low mono saves file size almost as much as the video settings.):

I think the one Stick used is different to what Joose used - Jooses one is a 30-day free trial, but I think Sticks one is completely free!
They both have similar names.

I am not 100% on this though, maybe Stick could clarify - i'm sure he mentioned this in his video at some point!

your right its camstudio and not camtasia

my bad.

camtasia is one I told everyone about, the one joose and misch use now.
