QQ --ah" it's a dangerous hand & people don't know when to get rid of A,K when they don't hit the flop-- they usually go to the end of the world with it. They just don't know when to throw it away. They hit it 1 out of 10 times & they think it is always a winner.

Not sure that was a donk move. Depends on the bankroll and game. He could have been getting good odds on his money. At worst he was a 3-1 dog.

How the hell does his play depend on his bankroll and game?

Haha well if it was 7-2 triple draw then moving in with AK would be a bad move, thats dependent on the game. BR..Im still figuring that out

stack sizes and blind levels are needed here, or better yet, the actual HH

What he said.

If it is in the beginning, you should not be smashing it in there like that...who is to say he didn't have 67, or hit a set on that flop? If you are at the point where you have to double up and about to bust...then that's a shove pre, you get out-flopped and go open the next SnG.

You got your money in good (the flop) as a favorite, uhhh, nothing you can do, keep doing the exact same thing imo.

Iv'e seen this so many times when the flop comes all low cards, the question you have to ask yourself, if I go all in will he fold? if I bet 1/2 the pot will he fold?, you pushed all in to push him off the pot. With the flop as it was and his hole cards it wasn't going to happen. No way he put you pairing the board, he prolly had you on AK AQ or a mid to high pair, J's or Q's ? Was it a donkey call, imo yes because he prolly knew he was behind or at best a split, I only see this kind thing from European players ( no dissrespect, I only mean pushing or calling all in when missing the flop with 2 high cards ), as said previous, HH would help.

I have heard and read this numerous times on this site and it needs to be revised. CASH GAMES=Long Term but in a tournament, if you run into a situation like the above four times and are a 75/25 favourite to win the hand, that means you will be knocked out of the tourney 1 in four times. That's it, you're done, no coming back

At least in a cash game, you can buy back in and earn money those other three times you win that hand.

You can play as well as you like, but luck is the biggest factor in going deep in a MTT.
