This is what helped me..I`ve read a few books before, i started playing tight.. did ok , i got to the money but never to the final tables.. I started reading more about opening my game.. Eventually i started playing way too loose without realizing it.. And i started losing even more.. By a chance i came across my old HOH book. Its pretty much basics for a good tight gamer. I read it and right away i started playing better. I`m not sure if this is just a good streak or i improved my game. I just realized how much role does a position make. I did not realize it before i read the HOH the first time. I mean i knew the position makes a difference, but some how i did not implement it in my game. So now I improved my preflop game and i`m doing better. Im still lacking in my postflop game. Any advanced player can get me of a lot of hands since i play a bit cautious and tend to fold to aggressive plays unless i`m holding the nuts and that does not happen all the time, so i know i`m losing some money here and i need to impove my postflop game. I wish i was as good postflop as Daniel Negreanu... so my conclusion... when you start going on tilt and start losing money, relax, grab a book or too, read the basics once again and start playing. Youll be surprised how many mistakes you are doing and you forgot about them.
