How come Bodog doesnt like Canadians

I recently tried to set up an account there and it says that it will not let me because I am in canada. Anyone know why this is? Any clarification would help a lot. TY.

bodog is owned by a Canadian and is licensed by the Gov't of Canada. On one little condition that they do not accept Canadians!!

So it is unlikely we will ever be able to play there.

I think they are based in Canada and not permitted to allow Canadians to play. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

nick set up some tourneys at bodog because some of the other sites did not allow american players and he was trying to find a site we could all play at together. at the time he was not aware that bodog didn't accept canadian players, so he said he is going to keep trying to find a suitable site for all of the cc game. that is a formidable task the way the poker laws everywhere are changing, so just hang in there. lol

I dont think anyone likes Canadians, but you'd think they'd want to take your money wouldn't you?

Poker.com is an Aussie site and cant take Australian players either. It is the way the law is written in Canada and Australia.

Im From NYS and am now unable to play at any Prima sites as well as the Cryptos, Playtechs etc...
