Im trying to build a bankroll on pokerstars from a couple of dollars I won in a freeroll at the 1 and two cent NL/H tables (started at $1 at the table so I'm actually up here). About five minutes ago I folded this at the table with the winning idiot having pocket 5s for a full-house and the loosing hand with pocket rockets which where good until the river. Around .50 was bet after each round before the pocket rockets guy went all-in and lost.
I folded before the flop because they raised up to a dollar before it even got to me and as you see that would have nearly put me all in just to see the flop and since I'm just looking at adding a few cents here and there thats not what I was looking for.

Perfectly understandable fold. It'd cost you $1 to see the flop and and you're only going to make a set once out of 8 times. So unless everybody has around $10, you're correct to fold there.

Sorry forgot to quote but this is in response to Steve.

No, but sorry I didn't know. I was just showing a bad laydown from earlier. If I had to do it agian not knowing the outcome I would do it the same.

You made a good laydown and the cards just happened to flop where you would have won it all. Happens to me all the time. I will fold something that I should fold based on percentage, position, bet amount etc and I will see those cards I folded come out and I want to stick myself with a pin for it. But I realize it was a good laydown and that I would have done it the same no matter what so I grab another cup of coffee and play some more and smile knowing that next time when someone else does play those they are prolly gonna get knocked out of the tourney and I am gonna get their chips hehe.

Sorry I tend to run on in my sentences and forget punctuations.

This is charma I guess. This is about an hour later and it only cost a penny to get in so I called. The poor guy at the top hit a full house with an A on the river so I doubled up. Only reason I called is because it only cost a penny to get in. I guess playing like a donk does work sometimes.
