When a person at the table is on the button, and it is their turn to deal, and they mis-deal.

By accidentally flipping one card up that was dealt to somebody else so that everyone else sees it.

This happened to me last night, I was in the cutoff, and the person mis-dealt.

I looked down and saw that I would have had an ace.

I was pissed because we all threw are cards back for a re-deal.

What do you guys do in this scenario?

Does the person lose their deal, and pass it to the next person?

If so, what happens to the people that were supposed to be in the blinds?

Thanks in advance.

You use the card as the cut card. (the one you put to the side before you reveal the first three) and you continue the deal in order. After you complete the deal you give the person with one card, the next card. Then you use the revealed card as the cut card.

No redeal.

But wouldn't everyone know that the burned card would not be in play?

Therefore, people would have 1 less out?

Yep. That's how it's done.

If the dealer reveals two or more cards then you redeal
