The best advice I could give is to read as much poker related literature as possible and soak up tips from the pro's. Maybe subscribe to a monthly mag. WPT is pretty good, as is bluff.
Poker is a never-ending learning curve, so put yourself head and shoulders above most low stakes players by knowing what your doing strategy-wise.

quit while your ahead lol practice learn at least 20% of the time dont bluff low limits they dont know how to fold and for the really serious get a coach watch videos
At lower stakes, try not to play fancy and bluff as often. Be super patient and wait for the right situation to make a play. Don't get greedy too. You're not going to turn $10 to $1000 the next day, so don't gamble. Greed was what killed my BR at first. Hope you do well.
