I was surprised at Doyle's move. He was first to act, did he think everyone would fold? Although I didn't really like this season, I'm sad that it's almost over.

I think he'll be back for the next session, hes supposed to stay throughout the whole of the season, him, Dwan and Negreanu.

Doyle's move was hilarious. Neg and Doyles were harsh as hell on Mike all night, but he keeps saying dumb ass things. He wasn't playing the same game as the rest of the table and he kept trying to "prove" he's not a nit. It would get annoying, but Daniel had to say something every time Mike opened his mouth.

Do you think the "curse" has turned into the classic self-fulfilling prophecy? I've seen him play a couple of pots where he has the best hand and lets the other players get to the river to draw out on him. Could this be an example of where small ball poker could hurt you in the long run? Or possibly your mindset if already defeated... so shall it be perhaps? :creep:

Funny, I hate that part. I also hate watching previews of movies I really want to see. I like to go in fresh, but they always show a little too much of the next episode for my tastes.

His mindset is prob all fkd up after 5 seasons of this. He's prob been playin' the "small ball" poker for the simple fact that he doesn't want to lose like that anymore. He has a lot of money, he should just go back to playing good poker instead of worryin' about his losses.

So everyone is supposed to kill action when you have a full house? Or flop the nut straight (the guy made quad 8s). Or shut out your opponent with trip 9's on a dry board?
