Cash pretty easily. Sure if you win the 1 million drop or the main event you'll be a bigger winner from tournaments. In tournaments much more short term luck is involved and you have such huge fields to go through. This causes variance to be way higher and this makes for cash being superior.

It's just my curiosity, I do not want to start here any new battle

I'm not talking about whether I should choose MTT or Cash. This is not topic of this post

Here is proper topic

High stakes cash would no doubt have a higher hourly.

At any stakes whether high or low if you win an mtt there is nothing like it and you will be risking a ridiculously small sum to win a large paycheck. On the other hand cash games can be highly profitable but you can also have huge swings and you should be ready to risk so much more money.

So i think whether it is high stakes or low MTT is the safest bet to earn a big sum of money. You have to a very good tournament player and a little lucky and you'll find mtt to be more profitable than cash in the long run, Unless you are a master at cash games and have the bankroll to handle swings - then you can achieve similar paychecks paying cash.

Im most curious about high stakes mtt players earnings.
My friend who play cash 5/10-25/50 make about 500k$ per year, so i know numbers for cash game, but what about high stakes mtt earnings?

depends how you define high stakes, and depends how you define earning, mtts players can have 10mill years, but if we base it on bb win rates and ROI then usually cash at comparable stakes,

For short terms, Ill go for cash players.

For long terms, Ill go for MTT players.
