Ok, I know theres a thread on this already, but I have just confirmed which cards work and figured Id start a new one so there is no confusion. The all-access visa cards DO WORK. I just got one and tried it. Heres an email I got from pokerstars:

Hello Brian,

I hope this email finds you well. About your question, yes the all Access
(not reloadable) giftcard is working in our site. You can get this card at
any of the following locations:

Sunoco 7448
3111 W. GENESEE STREET
SYRACUSE, NY, 13219
3154682735

Wilson Farms #395
101 Valley/South Avenue
SYRACUSE, NY, 13207
3154241130

Sunoco 7454
971 E BRIGHTON AVENUE
SYRACUSE, NY, 13205
3154922375

Sunoco 7610
1000 W. GENESEE STREET
SYRACUSE, NY, 13204
3154728608

Activate your card at www.netspend.com

Please keep in mind that the effectiveness of this gift card may
alter due to changing bank policies against online gambling transactions.
Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee their 100% effectiveness.

I bought my card at a sunoco and activated it at allaccessgift.com - I then put the card number and expiration date etc into the pokerstars deposit options and presto, money is in my account. Hope this clears up some of the confusion.

Yeah, it's like $106 for a $100 card. Probably a better deal than the reloadables which charge you a monthly fee. Unless of course you can't build from the $100 and need to reload. You can also get a $50 card for like $54.

Don't know, link seems to be working fine. Maybe a firewall issue?

You can also call 1-800-699-9708 (in the US obv) for a distributor nearest you.

The all access gift cards (non-reloadable ones) can be loaded with any amount from $25 up to $250. And unless they just changed something recently (and I haven't checked tbh), the purchase price from the retailer is $4.95 regardless.

Just be careful when buying guys, the Gift2Go cards (I believe they are sold at wal-greens) dont work anymore. It has to be the all-access card, it cant say Gift2Go anywhere on it.

Gift2Go cards will clearly have something on the back in the top left corner.

They come in a yellow package, the all access visa comes in a silver package.

Careful about the reloadable All-Access. They do NOT work.

hate to break it to you but just becuause pokerstars says it works on their site does not mean it will. Pokerstars is saying they "accept" them not that they have any control over the processing of them on our end. I only talk from experience and no they do not always work.

just look at last line of your email, yes banks are catching on this is what they are being used for and are stopping it.

Sure, fair warning is reasonable. But like all things poker, it's all about the sample sizes. :) At the moment, Storm is the only member I can think of that has ever posted here about having difficultly using the all access gift cards. That's not to say they will always work for everyone, I guess, but until you personally run into the issue yourself, it is the most economical way to go for the masses in the US.

really its the best way?

so im putting on 1k on friday, as to my knowledge the cards you speak of only come in $100 right? and its like $5.99 for each card right?

so that is like $60 in charges if I want to put 1k on right?

or I could just use moneygram for the whole 1k and pay $10 flat transfer fee, kinda looks like my way saves me about $50 and as for the time it takes the same amount of time.

with the visa card you have to drive to store and get the cards then come home and put it on right? my way you drive to store and send the money and by time you get home its on.

Actually it's $3.95 for each card but ok :)

But so money gram is only better for $300+ at one time.

Also it would cost a lot more gas for money gram compared to the all access visa....

You're one of the few, though. If you go back and read through the majority of posters, you're looking at a large number of individuals that that will mostly be depositing in the smaller ranges of $50 to $200, give or take. There are very few that will exceed the $250 cap that all access visa non-reloadable pre-paid cards have on them, so for the need at the moment, yes, it's the most economical. Of course this leads us back to a totally different topic if we're talking about people that keep needing to make large deposits time and time again.

Well, that wasn't exactly where I was going with it (as in you weren't meant to be a direct target of that comment). And no, I wasn't going to have that conversation here.
