Ok, I'm looking into purchasing Hold'em Manager, and although I've heard great things about the product, their FAQ and forum seem to be garbage. So, I figured I would get an answer here quicker since I know a lot of players use it.

If I buy HEM and install it, what happens if I want to move to a different computer? Do I have to uninstall HEM first? Is there some sort of online authentication? Can you have it installed on 2 machines at the same time?

Yes, the license is good for two machines. When you enter your serial number and activate it, it asks if you're activating it for PC #1 or #2.

Yes I am interested in purchasing a laptop soon, what is the situation about running HEM on two PCs, can you synchronise the database if both PCs are being used for poker (but at different times)?

Also does anyone know the answers for Poker Tracker 3, please?

Cool about the 2 machines. But, can it be re-activated somewhere else, or once you've made your 2 installs your done?

For example, if I installed it on 2 separate desktops, then down the road I picked up a laptop. Could I remove it from one of the desktops and install on the laptop, or would I have to buy another license?

I think you have to import your hand histories from one computer to the other to show up in HEM. Unless maybe you use a shared folder if you have a home network.
