I'm currently 18 living in Singapore. The Singapore's government banned online gambling (which included Hold'em) about a year ago.
I have only played Hold'em on social games, so I haven't play for real money. I want to "test the water" for real money but I don't know where to start. I think my only option is to travel to other countries such as Macau to play live Hold'em in casinos.
I really want to play Hold'em professionally if I have what it takes. The problem is, it will take a long time to show a result. Does that mean I have to migrate if I want to take this seriously?
If migrating is the only option, is Macau a good place to start? I'm a ethnic Chinese, so I thought Macau is a good place to start.
