Well finally got a small deposit on pokerstars ($20) and forgot to sort rake back, plus could not get any codes to work

Poceeded to donk that down to $7 dollars and few different types of sit n go's and a few ring attempts. Back just under $10 dollars as I type.

What I would like is any genral advice on 10 seat tables and how it differs from 6 seaters which I used to play on t6.

thanks in advance

You have to play tighter on a 10 ring table. The more players delt in the hand the less likely your hand is good.

Don't play the turbos. IMO the blinds increase so fast it too soon becomes a preflop shoving match.

Sit in regular 9-10 person SNG, wait patiently for a good hand, and then punish, without mercy, all the calling stations that are going to come along for the ride.

Sometimes the hardest pat for me is waiting for a good hand, especially when half the table are donking off their money flat calling raises from any position with a 9 2 off suit. When the blinds are low, compared to you stack, you still have time to wait for better starting hands than your opponents are going with. Once the blinds start increasand your M drops you can lower your raising requirements, but by then typically three or more players are gone.

I was at a deep in a MTT the other day (three tables left) and everyone at the table had at least 20x the BB and they were going all-in preflop every hand. Everyone was folding to the PFR. I finally picked up AA in late position, there was an all-in and call before it got to me, I called and they turned over an 8 10 and a A J, both off suit, and I trippled up. I wound up finishing third in the tournament.

deffinatly play tighter. you can afford to throw away your moderate hands early on. although i like to see a few extra flops when they are cheap early on. most of the players will donk out pretty fast. if you can build your stack up even a little bit, say to 2500, you can sit like a nit til the final 3 players.

me, honestly i deposited 20 on poker stars twice, and got smoked twice, i find that if yo wanna be successful on ps you should prolly play larger stakes due to the fact that therre is a wicked amount of newbs on there, now if you deposit 50 on full tilt, as i have you can play smaller sng's with ease and not have a problem, or atleast thats the way i have noticed it.
