Hey Guys ! My names Alyssa, i started playing poker almost a year ago. I started by playing at local freerolls in my area (bar poker - whole other game in my opinion) and then transferred to online, which due to living in the US is very limited. When i started going back to live poker but at actual cardhouses i found that i would start to get stressed out or "tilt" simply because i would buy in to tournaments and notice people buying 2, 3, 4, extra add ons and id be low stack from the start. As to when i play online i have absolutely no problem with bluffing or busting power moves. Does anyone have any advice or also has experienced this before and has tips for me that helped them offer come this obstacle ?

Simply, you are not used to part with "live money," putting real money in the bank, not online amounts. This will quickly pass, as far as experience. In addition, you do not have to play on the amounts, the loss of which will be burdensome for you. Play small bets, and before the game, select the amount that you are ready to lose without problems. This will be your stop-rate. When you just need to stop. Let it be absolutely not a large sum - a few dollars, for example. But you get used to playing for real money and stop paying attention to this nuance, completely focusing on the game itself. This will allow you to play freely and make the right decisions, including bluffs - this is part of the game of poker.

When you play online freerolls or micro stakes you can't loose much and this makes your game much more relaxed. This is completely normal. Usually at the casinos minimal buyins are much higher than normal (at least 10, 15$) and this makes the situation more serious and makes you nervous. The key here is to not play with money which you can't afford to loose. Play at the lowest possible buyin, play your game and do not be afraid that people have more chips than you from the beginning. No limit holdem is game where you can loose or win everything in a single hand so if you have enough chips for 10 blinds or more just play your best and don't be afraid by other player's stacks. If the minimum buyin in the casino is still too much for you just focus on online play till you manage to build bankroll and then use these money to also play live.
