Hi i play poker on fulltilt, with the same name as here, i mainly play 1+20c stts as i have a very small bankroll, one thing i have experienced is i seem to be getting many, big swings, five times i have had 10 games with as little as 0-3 cashes, and none of those as a win, about twice i have had runs of about 30 gaems with only 5 cashes or so, now i understand that bad swings are part of poker, but i'm starting to realise that it can't just be the variance. my roll is basically just constantly going up and down between the same two points (about 40 and 25)

Because of this i have started to analyse many hands, with friends and just by myself, but have not figured out what is going wrong, so i think it must be how i play the stt overall, i have had quite a lot of success in the 45 player sngs, but my roll really isnt ready for that to be my main game, because of this i think i might be playing to agressively in the stts, but i feel that i am certainly adjusting.

I was hoping that someone who is successfull at micro stake stts would be able to play a few games with me on fulltilt and maybe help me along so i can go from an even player to a winning player :) thanks guys

Sometimes aggression comes to your advantage ... Not that I'm any better then you at poker :)

I find my self in your exact situation ... Just came from a bad swing at FT :)) kind of lowered the bankroll limit :))

i find being super tight early then loosening up later on works quite well, but that is how im playing atm and im not a winning player, i think alot of it is because people dont realise how tight you are early, and as soon as you start opening they just assume you are a maniac, or maybe everyone plays like me so people expect it, im not sure, i also think the rake is huge which makes a difference, but there are definately still winning players at it, maybe we should play a game together? we might be able to help each other with some hands if we are at the same stage

Not Really,

Tight til about 5 or 6 people then loosen out a bit... Best book i could requirement is Sit 'N Go Strategy - By Colin Moshman. Covers everything you just about need to now about SNG's...

Yeah i basically do that at the moment and am coming with the results i have mentioned, i have read quite a lot of strategy about sngs and watched some videos, but i am basically broke atm, but i think it must be different mistakes i am making each sng, or something i am doing consistently which is small but big at the same time (i dont know if that makes sense) which is why i would like to play with a proven winner to see if he is able to offer some good advice.
