Both Chris Ferguson and Phil Hellmuth have pretty good default tell-hiding strategies that are easy to follow, you can see them in this video:
Basically on every hand, every action, you put your elbows on the rail and clasp your
hands in front of your mouth.
It doesn't cover everything, and obviously if your whole face is turning red it won't stop that, but it'll cover a lot of things. Aside from that I agree with the above, if you're only just starting playing live poker then a lot of things will work themselves out with experience as you get used to playing the game live.
