It's always surprising (maybe not) how the top pros always say "Poker ain't gambling!" then we see these types of side bets for unruly amounts of money. It makes them looks somewhat hypocritical, eh?

I guess when your standard of gambling is what it is to these guys, Poker is as safe a thing as it gets.

The $45,000 in the limo ride sure makes up for the humiliation of falling.

These types of side bets are tame compared to some of the ones I read about from Amarillo Slim.
