Heartland Poker Tour

If anyone is interested (or in the area) I will be at the Heartland Poker Tour event at Meskwaki in Tama, Iowa at the end of March. I'm pretty sure the Main event is on sunday March 29th, but I will be there that Wednesday night (the 25th) for the cash games and satellites, and will stay thru the ME. The direct buy-in for the ME is $1650. The HPT event they had there in November was fantastic. The structure is kinda weaksauce in the later stages, but the tournament is FILLED with TERRIBLE players, and you can satellite in for as little as $90. I satellited into it in november for $110 and busted 2 players away from the money. First place in Nov was 85k. The cash games are lovely as well. I made about $2200 in 3 days. If your interested or from this area let me know, cause putting a face to the screen names is kinda nice. GL

Do you have to be 21 to enter?

I played a few in minnesota and wisconsin when I o9ved up there.
They are pretty easy tournies to play in,and they are alot of fun.

live in cal so too far to go. watch em on sports net sometimes though. good luck.

I read the rules and I think it depends on the venue.
