The main question I want to ask you guys is:
How important do you think maintaining a healthy lifestyle is to becoming a successful poker player?
The reason I ask this is because after many years of watching some of the top players on t.v. and on the Internet, I have noticed that most of the really successful ones are fairly slim/athlete guys. Guys that start on the Internet and turn live pro often hire a personal trainer right away. I have never seen a top pro, live or online, be a huge/unhealthy person (300 lbs big).
I myself have always been active in sports and I have an athlete body so I don't need to worry too much (yet), but I wonder how badly my poker would be affected if all of a sudden I gained 50-100 lbs...
So what do you guys think?
