Generally I stick to a 100 buy in rule, so you're looking at a maximum of $11 (MTTs/SNG heads up). I tend to air on the conservative side to protect against variance, so I generally tend to play towards the lower end of my BR rather than the higher end.

But, from what I read from you, you have 24,000$ in your account.

11$ x 2136 = $23,496

$23,496 / 11$ = 2136 buy ins.

Before I go on, am I reading this right?

You may be right but I assume he has $2136. If he had $23k he's probably got plenty of knowledge :p and somebody with $23k probably plays higher stakes

Normally for Stats I say 100, but for heads up I like a roll of 200 X buyins.
