My wife is looking into staying at the Alladin because we have some friends staying there. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it all poker all the time like I want to because she will get upset with me. As long as I don't make it solely a poker trip I can still do my fair share of playing. I would like to play in some tourney's ($50-$150 or so buy in) and some ring games, probably 1/2 NL.

I know I can probably do that at any of the casino's but if anyone here who has been to lots of different poker rooms out there have suggestions, I would love to here them.

Thank you! I should have done a search. Sorry for the clutter.

By the way Jack---Am I the only one that finds it odd that you have an avatar of the Packers but you like Da Bears and your location is Soldier field :D . I love that. Aren't they one of the oldest rivals in the NFL?
LOL...see my signature line. I lost a superbowl bet.

Hahahaha, that's funny. I didn't read the sig, as you can see. I feel for ya man. I was rooting for Da Bears too (since I laid a good amount on them taking the money line). When I saw the forecast was rain, I thought that was gonna be easy money.

I can add a few things that weren't in the previous thread. If you want a very cheap tourney there is a $22 buy in at the Gold Coast (next to the Rio, off the strip). The first hour is Limit, then the rest is No Limit. It fills up very fast but starts at 10 AM, only about 40 people, but it's a fun little tourney.

Also the Alladin poker "area" (not really a room) is small. Caesar's has a very nice room with 1/2 and also 3/6 limit.
