Haha, with the utterly ridiculous hours I used to put in (before I found a touch more balance )? Of course!

Once I was stuck in an MTT while so exhausted that I was sleeping in between action being on me.

Not between hands, between action.

The Stars BA-DA-DA-DA alert noise woke me every time, I'd act, then back to sleep until the next bleeps.

That was the one time in my poker journey I didn't mind players stalling! :laugh:

I have also just straight up passed out in an MTT too.

Conscious mental activity generates toxic proteins in the brain which can only be broken down by the body during sleep. Extended sleep deprivation is very bad for you and might be linked with conditions like Alzheimer's and dementia.

nah, one time when the internet connection crash down in the middle of the tourney I got angry and go to sleep

I've fell asleep a few times playing some late night sessions, when that happens I will turn the volume on max and doze off until the timer wakes me up for my turn.

I almost had the same experience as yours. I recently played a tournament at the ACR that took about 8 hours. It was 2 o'clock in the morning and I ended up forcing the game to go out, because I couldn't take any more sleep. I think the final table game was until about 5 AM.

Hi. In some tournaments it has happened to me especially in long tournaments, there are some in which I have played that last up to 7 hours. there I admit that I have dozed but the bell of the tournament wakes me up.

yesterday i could not finish the cardchat freeroll because i had not slept for more than 35 hours

Good question.One day I came home from work tired, drank a glass of beer and launched a spingo for $100, and immediately passed out)I woke up and I lost my first ever spingo for $100 even without a fight, giving chips.And today I did not sleep at night, I played, the session lasted until the morning, the tournament was at 07-00 in the morning.I decided to lie down during the break,closed my eyes and woke up three hours later,it was all over without me.The stack was good for getting into prizes.When a person is too tired and needs rest, it is better not to delay the time for rest.Control your time for playing, relaxing, and personal life without poker.Good luck at the tables, don't sleep.And then Freddy Krueger will come for you and pick you up.

Hahaha..that a funny one. I bet a lot of people have fallen asleep on long sessions. I have temporarily dozed off sitting in a chair while playing but just for a few seconds. Many times I have been in the middle of a tournament and wanted so bad to go to sleep, and in ones where the stakes were not all that big I have quit and laid down.

it happened to me to sleep during some games when I play lying down, now I avoid playing too relaxed and lying down

Yes i have had that experience. I was on the tail end of a 30 hour session online. was running good the whole day. This particular instance i was in a 5.50 buy in 4 hour late reg. was at 250,000k in chips which at the time in the third hour of late reg was super lead. starting stacks where 10 k so i was set. then that pesky 5 min break happend and i fell asleep for about an hour and a half.
woke up with 100k left with ten bigs and my three 8's lost to a bigger kicker lol. made the money but it was only like 14.00$ sad face it happens if you let it.

Not really, played once 12 hour straight live tournament. Gets dizzy though

One time when visiting family back east, I decided to take a day to play poker at the local Native American casino. I decided to play a few hours of cash and then a tournament that started in the evening, taking a dinner break in between. I ended up placing 2nd in the tournament, but in the last hour to and hour-and-a-half, I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. Maybe if I didn't play so much that day I could have taken 1st (lol).

I had a good 8 hours of sleep the night before.

I learned my lesson....don't play cards for that long haha. It ended up being almost 11 hours. Some people may be able to do that. Not me haha.

It hasn't happened to me yet, but playing many hours in a row is a bit tiring and I lose some concentration

I believe that falling asleep when you have a lot of chips and you are in the money is simply a sin.
