Did you ever thought that someone is cheating on online poker or is that even possible somehow??
Sometimes I've got a feeling that some people know what cards will be opened...

It's possible in 2 ways (one of which was part of the full tilt scandal)

1 way) this is least common; staff working with the site sit at tables and know all cards.

2 way) much more common, 2 people work together in same cash game or tournament, share cards with each other giving double the info anyone else has

Variants of 2: teams of 3 or solo people who literally open 2 separate bank accounts and use Ip proxies to be able to multi-account

There is no 100% security on the internet, not even military systems are totally safe. Of course there is someone who can cheat, especially in smaller rooms where fraud investment is less. It is also possible to cheat with collusion. But if you do not trust it at all, it's best not to play so you do not get the feeling of being harmed.

I'd rather believe that "good" cheaters do not waste time on micro-limits so I do not care much. But I always watch out for potential players in collusion, those I report whenever I have any suspicion.

Who has not had this feeling ???
But I believe it's not possible to do this
We see sometimes stuff They that seem KAFKAESCAS happen but we should not consider that something obscure is happening.

Think it happens more than you think, there are still a bunch of dirty cheaters that enter the same tourney under different names and you have the colluders both in sngs and cash.

I do not think this happens, I'm sure this happens, because I see each one that I do not believe and players with no game betting everything and winning, it's to make sure you have something wrong.

Since I have AA in my hand and everybody folds, I have the feeling they are seeing my cards. Hehehehe. It is too much coincidence. When I have a 22 in my hands all bet and when I have AA everyone runs. Hehehehe. It happens a few times and it's really bad.

Right now I was thinking of starting a thread about trust in online poker.
When an idiot hand goes all in preflop, at a critical time of a tourney and win great hands maybe something's filthy.A person of the company may be?
I could say someone tried to bluff and won but there is so much coincidence.

There was a spare years ago where some players got caught using some "god software" which allowed them to see others players cards. Any cheating should be an instant lifetime ban in my opinion.

I have caught people cheating on a table I was playing twice in the many years of playing. Both times I reported it, and the poker site not only sided with me, they had also gave back the starting buy in for everyone at the table.
What happened was they were "chip dumping". This is where one player usually the stronger player. Loses the hand on purpose with a small bid into a big pot by the other player. It happens sometimes that some players don't realize that folding a hand with a big pot, by say a bid of a 40 chip bid when the pot size is over 2000 chips is not a good idea.
With that being said, when it happens consistently you have to think that collusion is really what is happening. The one player keeping the other player in a tournament in my cases.
It could have happened more, but it doesn't make sense to think that everyone is cheating. Some people are just bad players and rely mostly on luck. You have to take the good with the bad though. You can't rely on just plain dumb luck and win consistently.
I did just yesterday think to myself that man, this guy has to know what cards are coming. lol Most likely not though I am sure.

I once thought that some people could see my cards just because of the way they played. That would be crazy.

If you are very attentive, you can guess which cards will be on the table.

I thought people could see my cards, but it just turned out I just sucked...:D:D

You can run into things like bots, collusion, and other types of cheats but that is just part of internet poker. Has always been there, always will be, but the odds of this actually affecting you long term are super slim. I don't see you constantly at the same table with the same cheats day after day.

Most of the time you are losing because of holes in your game. Most of the time people don't want to admit that. Only about 10 -15% of the players are actually winning players, but most people think they are.

If I lose a buy in or two, I move on, I'll make it up later.

In the past, whenever I would be at a table and some guy would be playing crazy cards and winning, I would sometimes say to myself:

"Maybe he is cheating? Maybe he has some advantage (software or other)?

But now, when this situation occurs, I just run his name on "sharkscope" and I usually find out that the guy has lost a ton of money playing poker, so he is not a good player, he plays badly, but at this moment he is winning.

I really hope this is not true. It would be very annoying for someone to see my card.

The only way that a villain knows your cards is probably a administrator of the site playing. I don't think that happens a lot. More likely is that some uses 2 IPs to get into the same sit&go or plays with their friends and it's always harder to win a hand 2v1 or even 3v1. Unfortunately in tourneys at most of well known sites you can play from different accounts at 1 IP. To prevent this you can play on TG, BO, SB witch don't give payers the ability to play the same tourney on 1 IP. Try it! :)

It is unlikely that anyone could see your cards !!! Poker client is constantly updated, I think no hacker will not have time, for updates to the poker client, besides the reputation of the poker room is at stake !!!!
