Have you ever felt stagnant? As if my poker was parked and when you play it seems to be always the same. I'm kind of frustrated, what do I do to change my mind? What do you do when it happens?

I was just recently feeling this way. Since the last wsop I have been making decent deep runs in large tournaments but always suffering a bad beat just before the money bubble.

I have always loved this quote

"When you are going through hell, keep going" --Winston Churchill

So what I have been doing is studying lots of poker. Read Jonathan Little's books, joined his coaching site, I started analyzing the hands I played looking for spots where I could improve and it has really helped the way I approach the game. I no longer feel like I am stagnant but look at every opportunity to get a little better. Things have started to get better I have made some small cashes on ACR and in some small local tournaments.

I will be prepared to take advantage of any good luck that comes my way in the WSOP this year. As another one of my favorite quotes.

"Fortune favors the prepared mind" --Louis Pasteur

Best of all, do yourself a long break for one or two months.
It always helps. But during this break, you do not play poker at all.
During this time you will be able to change your perspective, and you will be able to make the necessary adjustments to the strategy of your game. Patience and discipline are key skills.

And be sure to read Jared Tendler's book The Mental Game of Poker.
In this book, you will find many answers to your questions.

I sometimes have it that in poker the game does not go, I make a break or go to tournaments with a small buy-in not to lose the bankroll, but if you play poker all the time and you have such moments, then you need to make a poker break or find poker games in which you have not played and try to play and win in them!

Try to take a week off. Make sure that nothing reminds you of the game. Just go somewhere, just let your head rest and reboot)

THIS USUALLY HAPPENS OR SEEMS TO HAPPEN WHEN I AM FATIGUED. SOME GOOD REST SEEMS TO CURE IT AS I WILL PICK MY SPOTS TO OVERCOME IT.

Hi.
Honestly, I never had that.
I think, you need to take a break.
Good luck.

Do not resist change, let positive thoughts and actions flow in your life with these tips to motivate you: Break your daily routine. ... Awaken your creativity ... Remember your "good times". ... Let your imagination fly. ... Renew yourself ... Question yourself ... Feed your mind. ... Overcome fears and escape from comfort

Who is not imprisoned of the need, is imprisoned of the fear: Some do not sleep by the anxiety to have the things that they do not have, and others do not sleep by the panic of losing the things that they have. "
