Have poker taught you any lesson for life?

I have learned a lot of things in poker I can apply in the general life. About patience, about everything being better making best choices... what about you?

yes, logic skill improvest he most, math also thats helpfull, reading ordinary people, there are lots of thinngs more im sure

Patience - especially in MTTs. Not playing a hand for an hour can be painful, but sometimes necessary.

Since I started playing poker I realized that I have improved several aspects of my personality, but my patience has changed.

Indeed you may learn a lot of things which can be applied in the real life by playing poker; in my opinion the most important one is that as in poker you may lose a hand playing by the book and having a great hand same in real life you may lose a lot even if you are a great person:heeeellll

Yes of course!
Playing poker made new friends, I became even more playful and with time I learned to focus.
It's funny how people search endlessly achieve a win in poker tournaments.
Always trying to improve our game, trying to understand where we went wrong and why we were eliminated.
Are simple analysis, we should pay much attention to that we avoid to make mistakes again.
It's like life, we must not repeat anything that did not bring good things for us.

I'm sure I will learn even more playing poker.

Learned my weaknesses

Found out I am not very patient, get angry when I receive a bad beat and feel like I am not rewarded enough for my abilities.

Playing poker I got acquainted with the theory of it. Which says it's a game, and if you think about it, our whole Life is a Game. Patience and professionalism to you in your game.

For me, poker is a combination of patience and discipline.
Thanks to poker, I became more disciplined and patient in real life.

Not playing too much of my money.

I find that you learn to not get upset after a bad beat (eventually) and that transfers over into not letting little annoyances bother you as much.
