I'm on such a bad run at the moment, worst since I started (granted only been playing two months), Every hand I play gets killed on the river, I'm being battered, even my monster hands. Every combination of good hands have taken a beating, then I start seeing hands I fold, which make sense to fold, would have won the pot. My ghost hands, as i call them, are really haunting me.

You must study the maths of the game. Monster pairs do not mean winning pairs. Winning pairs can be anyone, from the weaker to the stronger. It is a matter of maths sequences!

I appreciate that, and play them ok I think, I'm certainly not one to go all in when I see a pocket pair, mon ster or not. And I know some of it is bad play, mathematically and bet size wise, as I'm learning but I keep hit by ridiculous hands that should never be played. Is this more common in lower stake games? Just because the more advanced you get the less times these hands would be played to the river?

Do not take it to heart! This is poker, anything can happen! In some cases, even mathematics does not help, just does not work!

It's hard not to, sometimes I curse down the poker gods and beleive I'm being individually targeted by the software. I know this is not the case, it's the evil brain worm gnawing away. Is there a stage in your game as a novice that you try to incorporate too much into your game that it can have a negative effect?

online poker is a great challenge! The more hands you play, the more I lose! There are times when you need to know to sign with a hand or fold! This includes sixth sense (instinct) works above me as well, but sometimes do not listen because I'm focused 100%! I always novice poker every day compete with very good players and occasionally having to take extreme measures to get out in some situations winner! Rate how other players play! This is of great benefit to you!

This is the price you pay for playing on the internet, there is absolutely nothing you can do to alter these mostly bogus beats while online.

My only suggestion if you do not have the stomach for this, is to only play live events at your local casino.

Sorry I cannot be more helpful, but rest assured most online players have and still are being subjected to these types of beats.

do not be so sorry, this is on-line poker and there is a computer program here, which means that if you played out there would be other cards that might not be suitable for you

There are few decisions here. 1st of all, better just to make some break in poker. If you sure, that you doing everything right, when you need to change the pokerroom, if this will not help, then better to make a break and don,t play poker for some time.

The reading tip is good, I have found a massive 'leak' in my game - not discounting outs. As I say I'm new, this is a big miss by me and now spotted should make a difference. This is a great example of me reading something and presuming I know and understand it so move on.
