both hands are the same to me as medium strength, and I play with my bet, when several people also entered the pot with a bet, I usually try to steal the pot with such hands in late position.
Vs a range of hands AJ is going to be somewhere between 10%-20% better off equity wise and Hu AJ Vs KQ is 60/40 in favour of AJ so for me it's pretty clear AJ is the better hand.
sorry forgot write. What hand likes more to go all in before flop.
I think, depends how many people going all in.
But I love more AJ to go all in before flop. äBut mostly KQ is more active
I love KQ more, but before watch how many people going all in , if 1-1 then i go, but if 3people going all in before me then i fold KQ and sometimes AJ too. AJ is not very good hand. I think A10 is littlebit more better.
Both are not particularly reliable when there are 8 people at the table, but it is better to choose A J , because many play aces with a smaller kicker.
i think KQs more preferable for me, because As more likely to stay in game then Ks for most people(they will fold K3 for example), by this i reducing the likelihood of K-players
AJ all the way it will be easier to call knowing that ace high is good. It always just depends how the hand is played out if I think someone is bluffing and they totally missed the flop I'll keep calling with my ace high cmnoause most likely they also have an ace with a weaker kicker depending on there bets I might be able to tell if he has Ak or Aj and KQ shhhhh nah I means it's a nice hand just have to play it correctly
I often times get involved in pots when I shouldn't with these two exact hands. I like AJ and play it often especially when it is suited but I feel like its a trap hand and so is KQ. Now if you are in position I think both are playable hands but I prefer AJ.
