Hi.
3 month ago i was unlucky to get my pokerstars and full til accounts hacked.
I found out because the passwords was changed and so was the languages.. Luckyly 3 days before i made withdrawals, so only 10$ each was lost.
it took me a month to convince the support teams that it was hacked, because i found the IP adress of the hacker. It is fair i didnt get my money back, as it was normal log in, i was told.
I spended a whole day changing passwords everywhere, netbank, pokersites everything. Now i have pinkodes both places.
I expect it was a keylogger, but not sure. It is running normal now, but it still concerns me, if i get again. i am changing password every month now.
I have 2 antispyware programs and 1 antivirus program with firewall. every day i scan my computer, but the antispyware always finds tracking cookies.
are there any others who have tried this? I do like know what they do. As htey might have some advises to me.
thanks

pokerstars can give you one more layer of security if you explain your situation to them. pokerstars will let you enter a security code after you entered your password on pokerstars. This security code will be entered by mouse not keyboard.

Just because you have antivirus and antispyware doesn't mean your computer is secure. Many antivirus programs out there suck and a there are holes in a lot of firewalls that aren't extremely difficult to get around if you're experienced. The biggest thing is to just make sure that you aren't going to sites that are going to be suspect to aiding in compromising your computer. Porn sites, warez sites, etc. It also might not be a bad idea to reformat and reinstall your OS. That will definitely get rid of anything that the antivirus isn't able to pick up on, plus you will probably notice a speed increase.

Yes it was the pincodes, and have them both on pokerstars and full tilt. This computer is only for poker, and WAS for netbanking, (not anymore). I am not an IT expert, so i can only rely to the anti software, I did format my computer, hard work:)
Thanks for your comments, and advises
