I see so much holes in online poker in the past and still today, I think if you get any money in poker then atleast 70 percent of that should go towards a business or investing in something useful like renting property or something that can give you steady income with little work, Well that's my opinion maybe the degenerates consider this guy there poker hero I think it's sad though
How can he still be considered one of the top poker pros? Cause he's good as crap. I found the cardplayer article you're probably referring to.
The article also has Phil Ivey as the second 'biggest loser' this past year. With your logic, two of the biggest names in poker are 'degenerates' and should be spending their money elsewhere, such as a business or property, rather than their profession.
That's like saying "because Thomas Edison failed so many times to build a light bulb, he should have stopped wasting his time trying to figure it out," rather than continue on and try to accomplish the intended goal.
There is no doubt people like Gus and Ivey are at the top of their profession. Even with career losses in the 10 millions, there is nobody at this forum that would feel fully confident sitting at the tables with either of those guys at it.
