Have you ever called somebody with a very low hand like pair of 2's or even Ace or King high and been right? I get so much gratification out of this. These times are what makes the game great.

Yep, hero calls... best part of the game.

it depends on my stack, that of my opponent and also the odds of the pot. but usually I only call when I have a good hand.

It feels good but be careful that you don't start making bad calls and plays because you're chasing that high. There should be a strategic reason to call rather then just gambling and hoping that you're right.

I try not to do that with big raises and big blinds. This is bad for the stack.

For me personally, playing poker is a real pleasure, regardless of the results. But without a doubt, I just feel happy when I take first place in the tournament.

Hi Friend.

I have my pocket pair that sometimes I give it a chance and it has made me win a couple of times.

Hi.
Of course, each player has such moments. It all depends on the situation. But in most cases, I critically evaluate my chances and do not take risks if the chances of my victory are not enough.
Good luck.

I agree with you about the pleasure in the case you described. It is even more enjoyable if the opponent's bluff was read beforehand, rather than when the call was on the verge of doubt.

It depends on what stack and what tournament. If it's a big knockout and I cover my opponent, I will call with any two.

Oh yes I love a great hero call, it sometimes makes me laugh when someone is piling in the chips trying to bluff you and you have the nuts absolutely love it

I am glad when I make a correct read on the hand but making a hero call is not what its about. There are players who call and are lucky when they win and then there are players who read the situation and make a correct read on the situation and call. I get more of a satisfaction on making a correct read weather I win or lose the hand.

Yeah on a live game. I knew my ace high was good vs the player I was heads up against and the way he was playing and betting. He made a big bet on the river and without thinking about it started I talking saying I'm going to call because I know my ace high is good then called and flipped my cards over real quick and won the pot. He toned it down a bit afterwards.

Not often. It's not easy to get three cards right. But it makes a big game if you can.

One time at Best Bet Jax I won a hand with 4 of us in it with 33. No betting, and showdown I won lol. I was so amazed. Its the weirdest thing ever.

Yes this feels either fantasticly good, or fantasticly bad, if your opponent has fullhouse. Or even worse if you have AQ high, and hes got AK high lol.

I don't really like doing this, but I've already had hands like that. I even think it's unfair to earn more doing what?

Yes of course, if I think my opponent is bluffing, only last night I played a game where I was down to around 22 BBs, I was raised by the Hi-jack when I was on the BB, holding K/2, he made it Two and a half BBs to go, I was suited so I called, missed my flush but I did hit a King on a K,Q,7, Flop, so I checked and he led out with a 20 BB push, which of course would put me all-in.
I thought about it for a while and decided I was too low on chips, to fold Top pair even though I had a really bad kicker, and was surprised when I won the hand, I naturally thought he had a King with a really good kicker like an Ace or Jack but he had nothing, not even a pair.
People do the most amazing things when it comes to playing Poker, but you need to be aware that when you corner a Foe! they sometimes fight back.:):)

When the fun Stops, STOP!

Yes. If I have big stake. It feels very good, but it can be very danger. Don't risk to much.

Guy limped UTG and then called pre and all the way to river, then re raised all in, I had a feeling he was full of shit, after being at the table with him for a while and seeing how he played some hands, I thought about his shove for a while, it made no sense, I then called.

Turns out I was correct about him being FOS. :D

It's nice to have bluff catcher when your opponent has a weak hand range to make a hero call ;)
