I also recommend the Harrington on Holdem series if you are interested in tournament poker. They are a little old now, but the information in them is still really valuable.
Specifically, the 3rd book in the series is a "workbook" full of real
hands that happened between pro's in big tournaments. The book presents many hands as a series of multiple choice questions on every street (What would you do here -- A,B,C or D)
In the next paragraph Harrington
tells you what the person actually did in real life, then which option he thinks is the right one, and goes in depth explaining the reasoning behind each choice.
Reading that book and getting into Dan Harrington's head (along with other multiple big-name-pro's) was such a great learning experience. It helped me to see the big picture more clearly and got me thinking about Tournament poker on an entirely new level.
