Does anyone know any good books on PLO? Not too complicated cos I'm a bit if a thickie
I bought Farha on Omaha and if I followed his advise I'd be broke in 5 mins.
I play a lot of Omaha and know the basics but would like to improve.
Thanks.

I liked Pot Limit Omaha by Jeff Hwang. Starts off nicely before getting deep ;)

Hey Colin,

I agree with you about Farha's book. It's more entertainment value than anything else IMO.

I'm more of a PLO8 guy than PLO8, but these are some resources which my PLO friends have recommended:

PLO From Scratch - a free 14-part article series

Fast Lane To PLO - a free video series

There is also Omaha Planet

Also, I saw elsewhere that Poker Orifice recommends Jeff Hwang's "Pot Limit omaha poker - The Big Play Strategy".

I loved this book.. Helped me get a solid grasp of the basics (I'm a bit of a thickie also). Been meaning to read the more advanced chapters but glued to super systems atm.

It's been several years since I read Farha on Omaha, but I don't remember the advice being bad. However, after just briefly looking through it, I certainly don't like how it's structured. The only other PLO advice I have read comes from Lyle Berman's chapter Super System 2. It's definitely better organized, but still focused on the basics. I haven't read it, but I've heard good things about Hwang's book that wincwales menioned.
