Same old, same old, IMO. Frank may introduce a bill soon...well duh. Glad to see the NYT finally put an article out that's been out by tons of other people all over the place for the past few months. I think PokerNews has done like a story a week on this.
Anyway, one interesting thing from the article:
"But speculation that Las Vegas casino operators were looking into the possibilities was fueled by recent reports that Harrah’s Entertainment, which owns Caesars Palace and other
casinos, recently hired Mitch Garber, former chief executive of PartyGaming, for an unspecified role. Harrah’s did not return calls."
I had heard rumors last year that Harrah's already has an online
poker site ready to go, and as soon as it becomes legal, they'll flip the switch, and you'll have direct
wsop qualifiers through them.
