I 'ld like to take alittle time speading some good news concerning FTP! Rcecently I was involved in a $1.00 buy-in with rebuys and add-ons, game #113309378 which attracted 638 players...pay-offs started at 63 players! Now, after playing for 3 hours we were down to just 77 players and I was in 63rd place...I was waiting for just the right hand to move up the pay-off "ladder" when the worst thing in the world could happen....I got disconnected! I checked to see if the problem was at my end and my connection was at 100%...Not wanting to just sit there I did everything I knew how to get reconnected as fast as possible to no avail! In the end it took me 15 mins. to finally get back on FTP where I found myself already out of the game because of the large BBs ( I only had 10,000 chips left and the BBs were nearly at 2000 when I got disconnect)! Needless to say I was pissed! But without any attitude I explained as acurately as I could my problem to FULL TILT SUPPORT and they in turn reviewed the game and decided ...because of the disconnection...to return my buy-in, my rebuys, and my add-on fee to my account! Now I know playing for 3 hours and breaking even doesn't sound like much ...but when you consider that FTP does not or can not take responsibility for every disconnect ...I think this was a wonderful gesture on their part! Happy to be a member of FTP...olddog21:icon_sant

Nice to hear they stay open to do something back for someone...

I think it's easier because of the small amount to get something done, when this happens...Would they still do the same if you played a 100r...

FTP seems to have some of the best support, two weeks ago i deposited $50 and a week later i notice that it was withdrawn twice on my bank account so i e-mailed support and got a reply back that they where checking on it withing 4hours and withing 24hours they had found that one of their tellers had made a mistake,so they credited the $50 plus another $50 for the inconvinience.

They've pretty much treated me well in terms of that kind of thing. Had a similar experience with a disconnect once and they refunded my buy-in. Gives you a sense of their profit margin, if they can do that sort of thing on a regular basis, eh?

That's great customer service that you were able to get your buy-in back. FTP has been really helpful in the past to me whenever I have ANY issues with them. Stars on the other hand....still have not gotten back to me about why it won't update, so I am not even able to play on Stars. That was back in July. LoL. Still waiting......

I love Full Tilt though. I get disconnected all the time, but nothing MAJOR MAJOR yet, but bc of this post, I will email support if anything comes up. Thanks and hopefully your next tournament isnt' so bad! =)

I think it's very generous of them to refund for a disconnect. I would think this could get costly for them - but on the other hand - keep the customers happy!

I had a similar issue with bodog. One that was actually a direct result of their faulty software and they wouldn't give me back $1. And the attitude of their customer service representatives was horrible.

That was nice of ftp to do that for you, I know while in a tournament and i disconnect I get pretty frustrated.. Im on a desktop as well and not on my laptop so i dont understand how every 2 mins i could be loosing connection.. Im happy to hear that ftp is doing something, Instead of doing what they usually do lol..

Great to hear. Never had to deal with them, but the folks at Bodog are just as good and effective. Once had a problem and they corrected it on the spot with a phone call.
