this might help some people cope with bad beats,it helps me.when ever i get a good beat i write it dawn on the left hand side of the page, and like wise when i get a bad beat:mad: i write it on the right hand side of the page. When i write down the bad beats, i also have a look at the last good luck i had and it stops me from going on tilt.i have been doing it for 2 months and it is surprising how even it is and it realy dose help me.

i hope this could help you get through those bad beats.

This just gets me pissed off because there are always like 5x more bad beats than suckouts. Which is good obviously because I get my money in good most of the time... but it's still frustrating.

Whatever you have to do to keep yourself on an even keel.

The only thing I would suggest is that if you have about the same number of suckouts on each side of the page, you have some work to do on you're game. If you're better than you're oponents, they should be sucking out on you MUCH more than you getting lucky against them. Just an observation. GL

I do this all the time to gauge how I'm running which at the moment is horrifically bad.

I usually work with five columns. First column is when I get lucky, Second is for races(check for a win and x for a loss), Third is for bad beats, fourth is for dumb plays I make, Fifth is for well played hands like good folds or reads, etc.

Currently I have lots of x's in my second column and a bunch of checks in my third and fourth columns. In other words I'm going through one of those bad stretches where I can't win races, I'm losing when ahead and I'm punished for all my stupid plays.

I always found my system helps me get out of funks better by keeping me on even keel and forcing to cut down on mistakes and tighten up.

Wow, so you're right 100% of the time and always have the best hand? That's interesting.
