I'll add the disclaimer too ... if your learning the game pay proper attention to your bankroll management. If you want to be one of the fish that good players feed on do what JimboJim is doing right now.
LOL That being said, I'll gamble once in a while myself but the more I do gamble the more I realize I'm better off staying within my money management scheme.
Maybe one of CC's math genius's could give us the odds
of what this kind of action is.
In my personal experiance the odds are pretty thin, maybe 1 out of 20 times I try this kind of thing it pays off. I lost 300 bucks once playing live and needed my last 60 bucks to last till payday. nevermind I shouldn't have lost the orignal 300! I got in a tournament that cost me 40 bucks of my 60 and thank god I made the final table winning around 800.
Now I've not done this 20 times ... I rarely do it... I think I've done it 3 times and I lost twice and had to scramble for survival money. So for me it's a personal 1 out of 3 win and that was just plain LUCKY. You can't depend on luck in poker, I have since adjusted my attitude and WILL NOT do this anymore.
But that being said .....GOOD LUCK JimboJim
