The last couple days, I have been doing a bunch of the $1 sng (27 and 45 people)

The 1st 3, I cashed in, which was good cause that was a quick $15. anyway, 4 out of last 7 I have been in, I have been knocked out on the bubble (1 or 2 spots before the cash)

A
m I the only one that would rather be knocked out early by a donk and just be frusterated instead of being knocked out on the bubble?

Bubbles make me cry.

Do bubbles make you cry too?

the Bubble Boy

Yes, it's the worst... I have been there a few times... and trust me, it doesn't help when the other guys tell you... good games... cuz it wasn't a good game... it would have been a good game, if you got in the money...

but I guess this year... the guy that got it worst...

was: THE LIPTON KID

at this years, Full Tilt PLO Heads-UP Championship...

$25,000 down the tube... and so close... that's got to be painful

I hate to be the bubble boy. You have been playing your tournament for so long and then you get knocked out and you will receive no cash. I rather get donked at the start then be the bubble boy. Some time ago it happened to me with a 15$ buy in tournament in real life with about 120 players. I had a-q and went all in, the guy called me with q-6 and the flop was: 3-3-k, then the fourth card was a 4 and on the river the 6 came. He won and I got owned. Hours later I was still thinking about it :p.

Getting KO'ed on the bubble is worse than being the first to be KO'ed. That's happened to me more than a couple of times.

To be fair although I understand where you are coming from, if I ever get knocked out first then I am not playing the right game. Id rather bubble because it means that I am on the right path and I am that close, yeah it sucks and yeah it eats up alot of your time but when I start going out 1st 2nd or 3rd its time to quit for the night.

Bubble Boy

In the past 5 FT Omaha hi tments ive played in, ive made it in the top 50 twice, came in 30th once, 28th once, and then finally made the final tbl. Its hard when youre the short stack and having to hang tight until you can get a good hand or continue to fold until you make it into the $. Everyone tightens up when you get close to that $

I agree. When I get get knocked out early on, it doesn't matter how bad of a beat it was, because I forget about it in the next few days. I can remember those bubble games for years and the exact hand history of the hands I went out with.

Personally, I'm ok with getting knocked out on the bubble. Mainly, because it doesn't happen that often, as Im still trying to get better and advance in a tourney. And when I get knocked out way early, it's usually on a terrible play; if i get knocked out on the bubble, it's because I did well, but wasn't able to keep my stack large enough to wait my way in. If i have enough money to last to the bubble, I never get risky and start pushing all-in, I rather make a little money, then push and bust, and you can always get on a double up run at the final table.

Not always

Dead Man's Hand - Mortis Poker: mortis sucks

When you get KO'ed on the bubble.. you put more time into it, and still leave with nothing. Sure, you may have learned something, but you still left with nothing.

Mortis... I agree that that the hand sucks, but why didn't sweetpotat tie for the hand? Did they not both have a full house, Jacks full of 9's?

i can't say that it doesn't suck but i always play to make it much farther than the bubble, so it really doesn't matter if i am bubbled which doesn't happen that much because i play to go farther. lol.
