I have been playing funsteps for awhile now but can't seem to get any money out of them. What is a good strategy to take when trying to build a roll using this method. I have been playing all ten step 1's, than if I get any tickets I keep playing. Should I just accumulate step 1 tics until I get say 10 or should I do something else, any suggestions!!!!!!!

Just play all 10 step 1's a day. After that, it shouldn't really matter. Just play your games before the tickets expire (7 days from when you got it).

I play all of my step 1's at the same time. It keeps me from getting bored and playing in pots that I shouldn't be in. The step 1's are just a huge donkfest. Don't play early unless you have the nuts, or near nuts. The play is so bad in the 1's that you should be cashing in at least 5 of the 10. I will get sucked out on in about 3-4 of the games, and win the rest by having my hands actually holding up. Sometimes I'll win by not even playing a hand, and letting everyone donk themselves out.

For the step 2's and 3's just play a tight aggressive style and you should do pretty well. I typically will save up some step 2's, then play 6 step 2 tables at the same time, and ~ 2-4 step 3 tables at the same time.

Good luck!

I won my first real dollar from a FunStep a year or so ago, turned it into 12 bucks and was able to play on LockPoker (Before they switched off Merge) for a good amount of time.

Just keep at it, I dont remember how many FunSteps I played, but trust me, it was a lot...

Thanks for the advice and I have been playing well on the steps. I have won 4 bucks in 3 days and am hoping to turn that into more on some micro mtt's. I started playing the steps and was one of those donkers but have tightened up my play and have been doing well, thanks again for the input and good luck on the felts all.

When I first got on merge I messed around with these to try out the software. I'm not sure if they still play the same way or have become more or less difficult.
If your playing time has any value to you, then my strategy would be to:
Play the max 10 funsteps1 per day while multi-tabling as many I could. Shove on the first decent hand that you get. If you double up do this again until you go busto or.... If you triple up sit out til the bubble. Then standard bubble play applies. If you quadruple up that should be enough to make top 3 so sit out the rest of the game.
After a few days of doing this you should have accumulated several step2 tickets, these will play a little tighter. If time is not a concern or you are partially playing for the enjoyment then play them straight forward. If it were me, I'd still pursue a similar, but slightly less donkish approach as the step 1s while multi-tabling. Step 3 play straight forward being slightly more aggressive because only first pays out. Anyways that's my thoughts on it.

They say that but I have had some step 2 tickets for almost a month now on one account and had a step 3 ticket for about 2 weeks on another.

Really? Let us if they actually work when you try using them. Maybe they will tell you they are expired when you try.
