Funny Topic: What did u do 30 minutes before start playing on line poker

mine is ....

prepare another set of keyboard and mouse, stand by , in case, mouse and keyboard running out of battery.

and

most important, stack in piles of food and drink, for 2 hours mental game...LOL

start well prepared in any eventuality, with sufficient spare parts

you have to prepare better, because I think you'll be more than 2 hours ... lol

I make sure my kids are fed so they don't bother me, and I put my phone on airplane mode so I don't get interrupted.

Plug in the following to my laptop:

Power cable
Xbox 360 controller
HDMI cable
USB wifi adaptor

Then do the following:

Go to the toilet
Ensure I have water/have eaten
Phone off
Open up pokerstars
Ensure correct filters are used
Open up AHK 1
Open up AHK 2
Click start registering

That's a great answer. I take a piss bc not all sites r sync breaks. Get my beverage and snacks and strap in for the ride.

I always ask my wife, is there something ya want me to do before I start?

Nothing physically..........I just visualize scenarios and how I am going to react to them if they occur during the upcoming tourney.. #I want a pre-tourney routine though, think it'd help alot

Wake up from my nap that I took so I would be well rested for the tour.

I have no rituals before playing poker. After starting, when there are only 2 tours running I usually surfing on net or watching TV. After the others start, I start concentrating on poker...but the TV is still on (usually watching Columbo, soccer, documentary films).

My thing i do is always go to the restroom and smoke a cigarette before sitting at the table. Then i will go make sure i have a nice fresh soda before the game starts and the last thing is to get a podcast from Joe Rogan ready to go in the background so i may listen to it while playing.

Washroom. Smoke. Ask the bf if he needs food or coffee (fortunately it's just coffee and a 5 min walk because he too will be prepping for his own tourney). Occasionally I'd end up with a random house chore like the laundry or dishes because I don't feel comfortable being in a long tourney and then suddenly remembering I have chores that needs to be done >.<

i drink water and juice, and prepare some while playing also prepare some snack for the 5 min break, then open the pc or laptop, prepare the music i like to hear when playing (usually 90´s alternative rock), then surf the web for a while, check the news, open cardschat and read for a while what´s new in the poker world, open full tilt and pokerstars and see what´s tourney i´m going to play and also look for upcoming events and promos, i like to see the lobby of the tournament to prepare some kind of mental strategy regarding the field, the players, and the prizes, also the time structure, and finally i like to see who players are registered and who of them i have labeled

I just do other things.Only get prepared two minutes before the games start.

actually, usually I go for a walk, and I'm thinking about trying to play well regardless of subsequent outcome, and I ask myself as I play what's next.
