I was playing the $10.00 SnG's on Paradise & a few people that I've played with a bunch of time sat down. So we were chatting it up & having a good time. The blinds were 5 & 10 still & some moron went all-in UTG, the BB called & flipped over KK, UTG flipped over AJ, didnt improve & was done. I remark "what kind of moron goes all-in with AJ, the most you can win is 15 chips & if anyone calls you are 9/10 gonna lose." The table got a chuckle out of that & everyone seemed to agree. The very next hand a guy with 700 chip goes all-in, I look at my cards AK, I have 1600 chips & think why not, so I say "A,J??" & call. Well I was close, the guy flips over A,10, doesnt improve & is all done. WTF are people thinking, the rest of the table was cracking up from that boneheaded play.

yup that's what online poker is coming to now
i think the fact that all they see is numbers on a screen instead of bills they are losing, they really don't treat the game the same
and that is why it's so profitable to play these games and take all their bread! :D

Obviously newbies as well. I remember when I first started playing, I would do the same type of dumb-ass moves. But, I have to say, that's one of my pet peeves when people admonish other players for their bad play at the table. Not only is it rude, but why would you want them to improve their game??? Don't you want to be able to continue taking their chips??? Why would you clue them in on their folly? Seriously, make a note of them, and hopefully they're just as donkish next time you meet.

re

well I didnt say that till after the hand was over & the guy had left the table, I just found it ironic that someone would do exactly the same thing one hand later.
