I went up North for last weekend to play some poker and hang out with some "imaginary friends" (online poker buds) when Cory Zeidman and Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson were there for the weekend.

After busting out of the nightly tournament, I head to the 1/1 games to finish out the night. The 2/5 game that is being live streamed that Cory and Hollywood are playing is directly behind our table. Seated directly to my left is a gal that I guess is from the area and is friends with Hollywood--she's on the waiting list for the 2/5 game. Enough background, on to the fun.

At times there is a lot of limping in this game and a lot of calling of normal raises. So, when there are two limpers ahead of me when the action gets to me on the button. I look at :kd4: :qd4: look at the gal in the SB and I just call. She min raises, 3 callers to me and I call--5 to the flop. The flop comes out :4c4: :6s4: :8s4: It check, check, check, checks to me--I check. The turn is the :10c4: It check, check, check, checks to me--I check. The river is the :7s4: It check, check, check, checks to me--I look at the board look at my hand and think REALLY? So I check.

The gal to my left turns her cards over and announces K high. As every turns their hands over and no one claims the pot, again I look at the board, look at all the hands and turn over my hand and say, K high Queen kicker. The dealer shoves me the chips--to my disbelief. Immediately she's giving me grief for slow rolling her. I say to her, "Are you serious with that board and 5 players to the flop you think I'm slow rolling you". She mutters, "Whatever". I insist that considering the circumstances I was definitely not slow rolling her. She responds in only what I could call a bitchy little voice now, "Whatever, I KNOW when I'm being slow rolled!"

To the next hand. The SB posts his $1 and the BB posts a $5 chip for his $1 BB. This gal is now visibly steaming and she slams a $5 straddle on the button. Action starts with the SB and everybody folds. Since the dealers at this charity room have no chips in front of them, as most casinos do, they make change to the left of the player and the dealer shoves the $2 from the SB and BB to her.

Well off she goes again: You can't pull chips back from your bet. What do you think you're doing. I don't know what kind of game you're running here. I'm not new to this game. I know how to play and what I'm doing!

Meanwhile the whole time she's bitching the dealer and the player were trying to explain to this *ahem* lady that all he had were red chips and when he placed the $5 chip inthe BB it was really only a $1 until the action was on him. On we play. She is now beyond steamed squirming in her chair looking to see if a seat is open for her at the 2/5 game yet.

Since she was oblivious to what was happening at her own table, it was no surprise that she didn't hear the conversation that Ace, Cory, and Hollywood were having about their early morning flight and how long they were going to continue playing. It was close to midnight and they had a 6 am flight. Hollywood took his trays of chips, cashed out and was heading to the next room where there are pool tables to hang out while Cory played a few more orbits. The floor comes over and asks her if she wants to move to the seat that opened at 2/5 game. "You bet I do!"

Well when she sits at the other table, I see that she's looking all around the table and the poker room looking a little confused. So, I lean back and say to her that it was Hollywood's seat that opened up that she took and that they were about ready to leave to go back to their Hotel. She exhales in disgust. To which, me being me, I say, "You can come back over and play with us!" She glares at me and turns back to the table. :)

"Whatever" usually means the person doesn't have an answer when presented with the facts.

Apparently not.

Trouble-maker ;)

Are you adding her to your list of imaginary friends?

He actually thinks razz is the least of the skill games of the stud games. Wish they played mixed games on those hsp shows. He would have made Hellmuth look more the fool than he did on Poker After Dark!
