Any hand you're dealt that rake is taken from (even if you don't contribute to the pot)... in cash games. Tourney of course is set with the buy-in.

Ongame network like pokerroom, hollywood poker changed it's point system though. Now you'll have to contribute to get points. Looks like bonus is going to be harder to clear at poker room.

I like the points system at Full Tilt. I have only played maybe one or two tourneys and sit and go's, along with a few cash games and have already raked in a good bit of points.

I know that at pokerstars, you only get an FPP if the rake reaches $0.40. There may be some minimum as well at Full Tilt, but I couldn't find anything on their website. I didn't search too hard though.
